Life of Lemons was started by 2 ladies who found their paths diverted from 'the plan'. And actually, that was fine, because it gave them both the opportunity, to do something different, which they would never have had the chance, or courage to do. 

 

We’ve all seen the vintage style signs in chi-chi gift shops telling us that ‘when life throws you lemons make lemonade’ or more aptly in our case ‘make gin and tonic’.  We come to our blog carrying a few battle scars from said lemons whether that be redundancies, jobs that were not meant to be, being a corporate gypsy and finally landing in a glorious place where we can take time to do something that we want to do, and not what others expect us to do.

 

Our aim is simple, to share things with you from the perspective of someone who thinks the term over-50s is hurtling towards her far too quickly and from someone who is a dedicated mother of two under fives and runs her own business from home.  We’ll look at life through our lemon tinted glasses and tell you what we see…….
